Halloween spending for this year is expected to top the $10 billion dollar market. That’s up by more than 25% from a year ago. Trick-or-treating was discouraged last year. But it’s back on for this year. The National Retail Federation says spending on candy for Halloween will likely be close to $3 billion and that’s a 20% increase over last year.
