It's so exciting to have Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, back on the schedule for 2021. We had to unfortunately miss the 2020 show due to the COVID pandemic restrictions around the state. But the show is back on for 2021, with a return set for August 13th-15th at the Shreveport Convention Center.

Before the pandemic, Geek'd Con had become one of the biggest pop culture events in the region. With guests like Michael Rooker, LeVar Burton, Elvira, Peter Mayhew, Chris Sarandon, and more.

Now Geek'd Con is coming back in 2021, and tickets are going on sale this week.

According to the Geek'd Con site, tickets will start with Early Bird VIP tickets on Thursday, May 6th. Then full tickets will go on sale Friday, May 7th. Here are all the ticket details posted on the Geek'd site:

Geek'd Con Lineup 2021: August 13th-15th

After a year off, Geek'd Con is back and we have an amazing lineup! Here's who we've announced so far...and we have more guest announcements to make over the coming weeks!

Legendary Musicians Who Rocked The Hirsch In Shreveport

Here's a sample of the legendary musical acts who have played Shreveport's Memorial Coliseum over the last 60 years. The Hirsch was basically the homefield for bands like Van Halen and ZZ Top, who regularly put the Hirsch near the top of their tours. For that reason, we're actually not going to feature them on this list, because they were basically "house bands" for Shreveport...and that's NOT a bad thing.
