One event that is near and dear to my heart every year is the Brother's Keepers Burn Run at Lake Bistineau. It's put together by a bunch of great current and former fireman and all the proceeds go to benefit Camp I'm Still Me, an amazing facility that helps children that have been badly burned. If you do some research on Camp I'm Still Me, you'll want to whip out your check book and immediately send some money.

But instead of getting all teary eyed and cutting a check alone, you can help support their amazing work and have a damn good time while doing it. Every year at Lake Bistineau, the Brother's Keepers throw one of the biggest parties of the year where, like I said, all the proceeds go to Camp I'm Still Me. This year's shindig is going down April 21 & 22 at Lake Bistineau State Park Area I, Doyline, LA. This year's list of events include a crawfish boil, a trivia run, bike show, live music, and a live auction with many great items!

If you've never been, I GUARANTEE that you'll have a good time. And on top of that, you can feel really good that not only did you party hard but you helped a great cause while doing it.
