If you love dogs and you love beer - you're alright in my book.  Nothing beats having some suds with your best bud - and no one is a better friend than your dog (don't tell my wife I said that).  Now, these two amazing aspects of life are coming together for an even more amazing cause!

According to the Bossier Press Tribune, Great Raft Brewing in Shreveport is hosting woof Wednesday this week - and it all benefits Robinson's Rescue!  This fantastic animal charity provides low-cost spay and neuter options for dogs and cats in SBC in order to combat overpopulation in our area.

You'll love this: In order to help this cause, Great Raft will open their doors to thirsty animal lovers with a pretty sweet deal.  For $15, the brewery will give you 3 pint tokens you can redeem for frosty brewed beverages and a snazzy souvenir Mardi Gras cup  - plus, Robinson's Rescue gets $3 out of every sale!  Don't forget to bring your pup, too - this event is pet friendly!

Both the brewery and the rescue are also asking for donations of pet food (dogs or cats, wet or dry) and cleaning supplies to keep their clinic sanitized. If you can help (and you don't mind downing a frosty or three in the process), find out more here!
