How Life Can End In The Blink Of An Eye

I shed tears today when I learned about the death of a 17-year-old Shreveport teen whom I knew for many years. Justin Hightower died in a car crash on the Roy Road early today. My oldest son is also 17 and he went to school with Justin for many years. Though they went on to different high schools and have lost touch, I know how much my son really cared for Justin. I too thought he was one of the most polite young men I've ever been around. And he was so funny.

I can only imagine the tears of the family. Please keep Justin and his family in your prayers. I also hope you will hug your kids today or reach out to them to let them know how much you love them. God's plan for them might be different from your plan.  Justin was a special young man and I now consider him another one of my guardian angels.
