Living in Louisiana, we know how hot our summers can get. We're talking 100+ degree weather. HOT!! And it's even hotter in a car! All the more reason to make sure dogs and children are NOT left inside of a hot car.

Former LSU football star and now NFL Arizona Cardinal Tyrann Mathieu decided to sit in a car and prove how dangerous it is to "forget" about kids and animals. Within minutes, he was sweating and grasping for breath. Can you imagine what a fur-covered animal feels like? Or how about a child strapped into a car seat?

Within seconds the heat in cars/trucks can be deadly as it reaches 120-degrees. So please remember that when you get out of your car this summer, take your kids and/or pets with you!
