I am waiting on information to confirm how many Shreveport officers are on paid or unpaid leave, but the folks at We Hear You Shreveport has published a lengthy report on the numbers of officers out on leave.

KEEL News has also been hearing about several officers resigning to take other jobs (some of them not in law enforcement) and we've heard

This information details administrative leave and departmental leave. It also includes officers assigned to Human Resources status (which is essentially a desk job). This report also includes officers who have been terminated.

Janica Allen went on “Departmental Leave” on December 23, 2019-February 18, 2020. Went on Human Resources status until June 15th. She is facing simple battery charges. 175 days on leave.

Randy Bordelon went “Departmental Leave” on September 17, 2019 and moved to “Administrative Leave” on March 2, 2020. He is facing federal conspiracy charges in connection with an anabolic steroid case.

Trevion Brooks put on “Departmental Leave” on January 27, 2020, but moved to “Administrative Leave” on March 2, 2020. Brooks was involved in the fatal shooting of Anthony Childs on February 5, 2019. 140 days on leave.

Tyler Cheney was placed on “Departmental Leave” on February 25, 2020 through March 30, 2020. He was Involved in the fatal shooting of San Juan Thomas with Officer Clemmie Porter on February 25, 2020.

Roger Courtney  went on “Departmental Leave” on April 28, 2020. He quit on May 31st.

Ricky Daughtery was put on “Administrative Leave” on April 16, 2020 (unpaid in this case).

Landry Ducote was placed on “Departmental Leave” on June 1, 2020.

Ladarious Ford went on “Administrative Leave” on April 3, 2020 (unpaid in this case)..

D’Quavius Franklin was put on “Departmental Leave” on February 17, 2020 and moved to “Human Resources” on March 27, 2020 through May 26, 2020.

Joshua Gatson was placed on “Departmental Leave” on November 11, 2019 and was moved to “Human Resources” on December 4, 2019 through January 27, 2020. Resigned on March 30th.

William Isenhour went on “Departmental Leave” on January 27, 2020 and then moved to “Administrative Leave” on March 2, 2020. 140 days on leave.

Qualesha Jackson (Jail employee) was put on “Administrative Leave” on June 7, 2020. She was allegedly involved in a fight with another jailer.

D’Marea Johnson went on “Departmental Leave” on June 8, 2020 due to his involvement in the fatal beating of Mr. Tommie McGlothen.

Yondarious Johnson was placed on “Administrative Leave” on April 17, 2020 and resigned June 8, 2020. Johnson was named in a lawsuit filed against the city in the case of Gregory Tucker who accuses the officers of use of excessive force.

The three other officers involved were Chandler Cisco, William McIntire, and Tyler Kolb. Cisco resigned in 2019, but was reemployed the same year. McIntire resigned in 2019.

Joshunnna Jones went on “Administrative Leave” on February 19, 2020 through April 13, 2020, at which point she transitioned to Family Planning leave. Jones was arrested on February 15, 2020 facing charges of domestic abuse battery.

James Leclare was sent to “Human Resources” between December 8, 2019 through January 6, 2020 and then placed on “Departmental Leave” on June 8, 2020 due to his involvement in the fatal beating of Tommie McGlothen.

James Lorenzen went on “Departmental Leave” on September 17, 2019 and was moved to “Administrative Leave” on March 2, 2020. He is facing federal conspiracy charges.

Brent Mason was put on “Human Resources” between March 3, 2020 through April 13, 2020 (reason unknown). Placed on “Departmental Leave” on May 28, 2020 due to his social media post regarding the murder of Mr. George Floyd.

Symphany Mays (Jail employee) went on “Administrative Leave” on June 7, 2020. This came after two jailers got into a physical altercation.

Treona McCarter was put on “Departmental Leave” on June 8, 2020 due to his involvement in the fatal beating of Mr. Tommie McGlothen.

Christopher McConnell went on “Departmental Leave” on January 27, 2020 through February 24, 2020 and moved to “Administrative Leave” on March 3, 2020. He was fired on May 11, 2020.

Lathan Meyers was put on “Administrative Leave” on April 22, 2020.

Darius Morris went on “Administrative Leave” on February 19, 2020. He quit on May 26, 2020. Morris was arrested on charges of attempted second-degree murder after the shooting of Reginald Jones on February 19, 2020.

Sheena Morris was placed on “Departmental Leave” on December 17, 2019. Morris was arrested for suspicion of DWI by deputies with the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office during the early morning hours of December 17, 2019.

Cinterrica Mosby was put on “Departmental Leave” on July 11, 2019 and moved to “Administrative Leave” on February 24, 2020. 340 days on leave.

Tiffany Oliver  was placed on “Administrative Leave” on April 22, 2019.

Clemmie Porter  was put on “Departmental Leave” on February 25, 2020 through April 13, 2020. Was Involved in the fatal shooting of San Juan Thomas on February 25, 2020.

Brian Ross went on “Departmental Leave” on June 8, 2020 due to his involvement in the fatal beating of Mr. Tommie McGlothen. He was also recognized by Chief Ben Raymond as “Training Officer of the Year”.

Michael Schultz went on “Departmental Leave” on October 7, 2019 through December 2, 2019.

Brian Skinner was placed on “Departmental Leave” on September 17, 2019 and moved to “Administrative Leave” on February 24, 2020. He pled guilty to distribution of anabolic steroids.

Deonquanita Smith  was put on “Departmental Leave” on December 22, 2019 and then moved to “Administrative Leave” (unpaid) on April 17, 2020.

Charles Strawn was placed on “Departmental Leave” on February 17, 2020 through March 9, 2020. Strawn shot murder suspect Gregory Jones when Jones allegedly pointed a gun at officers from a closet where he was hiding.

Sparkle Tims  was put on “Departmental Leave” on April 25, 2020. Tims shot attempted second-degree murder suspect Hayward Smith in the upper body on April 25, 2020.

James Tipton was placed on “Departmental Leave” on May 14, 2020.

Phillip Tucker was put on “Departmental Leave” on July 11, 2019 through January 27, 2020. Officer Tucker, who previously shot and killed a Shreveport man in 2013. 200 days on leave.

Jaquerus Turner  went on “Departmental Leave” on January 24, 2020 and moved to . Transitioned to “Administrative Leave” on February 24, 2020. Turner was arrested on domestic abuse charges. 143 days on leave.

Delandro Washington was placed on “Departmental Leave” on January 24, 2020 and transitioned to “Administrative Leave” on February 24, 2020 through April 20, 2020. He was arrested for allegedly sending threatening messages to his estranged wife.

Carl Williams was reported “AWOL” beginning on February 10, 2020, with a beginning date of January 25, 2020. Placed on “Departmental Leave” beginning February 24, 2020, with a beginning date of January 25, 2020. Resigned on April 20, 2020.
