Blue Bell Ice Cream has been a favorite in the South for years, and Southwest Louisiana is no different. There is nothing quite like grabbing a bowl of Blue Bell after a long day, especially when it is hot outside.

Blue Bell Ice Cream=A Southern Favorite
Blue Bell Ice Cream has been a staple in the South for years, and honestly, it’s hard to beat for flavor and creaminess. Some of my personal favorites are Homemade Vanilla, which is a classic for a reason, and Cookies ’n Cream, packed with big chunks of chocolate cookies. I also love their Dutch Chocolate and Strawberry, especially during the summer. Blue Bell keeps things interesting with seasonal flavors too, and it’s always exciting to see what they’ll come out with next!
Recently, Blue Bell released their Chocolate Lava Cake flavor, and it is fantastic. Personally, it is my favorite flavor Blue Bell has ever released.
The good news for ice cream fans around Lake Charles is that Blue Bell is easy to find. You can find it at many grocery stores in the area, including Albertsons, Kroger, Rouses Market, Market Basket, Brookshire Brothers and Walmart. Some CVS, Walgreens and local convenience stores also carry Blue Bell.

Blue Bell Releases New White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream
Thursday, Blue Bell announced it has released its new White Chocolate Mocha Ice Cream, and it is now available in stores for a limited time.
The new flavor combines two popular treats into one. It features coffee-flavored ice cream with white chocolate-flavored flakes and a vanilla-flavored whipped cream swirl.Blue Bell says the new ice cream is inspired by the popular white chocolate mocha coffee drink.
It is available in both half-gallon and pint sizes, but it will only be around for a limited time. So if this sounds like your kind of dessert, you may want to grab it while you can.
