Massive Wildfire Causes Mandatory Evacuation in Jasper County
Officials with the Jasper County Emergency Management have issued a mandatory evacuation for areas around 10 to 12 northwest of Jasper, Texas. Specifically, persons who live on County Roads 32, 33, and 34 are ordered to leave their homes immediately. immediately...

Highway 63 will be closed all the way to 255.

The Texas A&M Wildfire Incident map shows this wildfire to be at least 100 acres with no containment as of yet. Angelina County Emergency Management says one structure has been destroyed and that the fire has grown to 200 acres.
