Travelers who frequent I-20 along the Texas/Louisiana border need to prepare for some possible delays tomorrow (Thursday March 29) night.

In a statement from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, we learn they are advising all motorists that on the night of Thursday, March 28, the inside (left) lane of I-20 eastbound at the Greenwood weigh station in Caddo Parish will be closed.

This lane closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 10:00 pm to 2:00 am, and is necessary to allow for the replacement of a weigh scale sensor.

Of course, as with all projects from the Louisiana DOTD, this work will be performed weather permitting, so inclement weather could prolong or delay this project.
