Shreveport-Bossier City area kids wait all year for summer camp and it's time to get them signed up for Camp Victory at GREAT in Greenwood, LA.

Therapeutic Horseback Riding is incredibly healing and good for all ages. Do you have a loved one who would benefit from horseback riding lessons at Great Results Equine Assisted Therapies? Registration is open now for Camp Victory!

What is Great?

Great Results Equine Assisted Therapies is a program of The Arc of Caddo-Bossier and offers therapeutic horseback riding services to children and adults with disabilities.
GREAT is one of the coolest things I've ever been involved in. After volunteering at GREAT for five years, I've witnessed the healing power of horses firsthand. I've watched students with traumatic brain injuries, Down Syndrome, autism, etc... get stronger, both emotionally and physically... and best of all, at least in my humble opinion, I've seen the pure joy it brings!

I could go on and on about the benefits of equine-assisted therapies, but it's almost something you need to see for yourself. I invite you to become a volunteer at Great. I also hope you'll get any loved one that you think might benefit signed up for GREAT's Camp Victory. Camp Victory is an inclusive summer camp program for children ages 4 - 10 years old with and without disabilities.

In addition to daily horseback riding, campers will enjoy snacks, arts and crafts, team-building exercises, and more. There are two sessions available. Campers can choose between the first two weeks in June 2023 to attend. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Click here to register for Camp Victory!

GREAT's mission statement is to, 'Build unlimited opportunities for people with disabilities through therapeutic horsemanship.'  The Arc of Caddo-Bossier has multiple programs, but as you can tell, GREAT is the one that works on my heart. It takes a lot of money to run a facility like GREAT and I know they'd love your support in the form of time or money!
