That all sounds pretty awesome, right? Or should I say 'totally tubular?' Either way, if you're a fan of the 80s, you'll love what we're doing each weekend on KVKI through Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. Yep, you guessed it, we're giving you more Feel Good 80s and 90s Weekends!

So, each Friday at 3pm with Bristol through the end of the month, we're going old school celebrating the decade of Swatch watches, Cabbage Patch Kids, and break dancing! Yep, we're bringing back all of the '80s hits you love and we'll keep the totally awesome tunes rolling through Sunday night at 7 pm when Delilah comes on.

It's hard to believe, but in the '80s we thought Nintendo was the height of gaming, that Garbage Pail Kids were cool, and that Clara Peller really wanted to know, 'Where's the Beef?'. We also wore crazy stuff like slap bracelets, penny loafers, Jelly shoes, and hyper-colored shirts. What were we thinking?!?!? We also idolized artists like Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Duran Duran! In the '90s, we were all about AOL and felt the pain when our Tamagotchi digital pet died. Both men and women had frosted hair and we also wondered if Rachel and Ross would ever get back together on Friends.

Don't miss it when we serve all this pop-culture fun up for you on a platter this weekend as KVKI celebrates with wall-to-wall '80s and '90s super hits. And don't forget, wherever your travels take you this weekend, take 96.5 KVKI with you using the KVKI Mobile App.
