KVKI is Rocking Another Feel Good Labor Day '80s and '90s Weekend

We're doing it again! KVKI is cueing up another Feel Good '80 and '90s Weekend in honor of Labor Day!

Starting this Friday, September 1st, 2023, at 3 pm, we'll be celebrating all things that have to do with Swatch watches, Cabbage Patch Kids, and break dancing! Yep, we're bringing back all of the '80s and '90s hits you love and we'll keep the totally awesome tunes rolling through Monday, September 4th at 7 pm when Delilah comes on. Are you ready to revisit the time of your life when we wore friendship bracelets, played with Care Bears, and watched Miami Vice? We sure are!

It's hard to believe, but in the '80s and early '90s, we thought Nintendo was the height of gaming, that Garbage Pail Kids were cool, and that Clara Peller really wanted to know, 'Where's the Beef?'. We also wore crazy stuff like slap bracelets, penny loafers, Jelly shoes, and hyper-colored shirts. What were we thinking?!?!? We also idolized artists like Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Duran Duran! Don't forget about AOL and felt the pain when our Tamagotchi digital pet died. Both men and women had frosted hair and we also wondered if Rachel and Ross would ever get back together on Friends.
