Justin Bieber is reportedly worried about disappointing his fans by delaying his album.

Earlier this week, the "Sorry" singer said he's putting his career on hold to repair "some of the deep-rooted issues" in his life, as well as focus on his health and family. Bieber opened up about why he hasn't released any new music in an emotional Instagram message, revealing that he wants to be as transparent as possible.

Now, sources close to the 25-year-old pop star said he wanted to be honest with his fans so that they're not disappointed in him. "He doesn't want to leave them hanging. He knows they want an album, but it's just not gonna happen right now," an insider told People. "He wants to be honest about why. He only wants to focus on his health and that's it. He doesn't want to feel any pressure and doesn't want to disappoint."

Bieber hasn't released a new album since 2015's Purpose, but in his Instagram post, he promised fans a new "kick-ass album" is coming "ASAP." However, it might not be as soon as they expected. Sources added that Bieber was skeptical about sharing his personal feelings at first, but that he doesn't regret doing it.

“He thought a lot about what he wanted to share with his fans and he is very happy that he did,” the insider added. “He has no doubt that he will come back stronger and better eventually. He wants to be able to give his fans amazing music and shows when he tours again. He is convinced he will be able to when he is ready.”

For now, he's also focused on working on his marriage with wife Hailey Baldwin, as well as working on himself in order to become the father he wants to be to his future children.
