Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade Rolls on Saturday!

The Mighty Krewe of Centaur roll this Saturday in their annual Mardi Gras parade throughout the Shreveport area. Millions of beads and other throws will be thrown to onlookers throughout the parade! The parade will kick off at 4:30 pm in the Red River District and roll throughout town.

KTBS says to look out for the Rose Float and their specialty bead this year which is a Rocky Horror Pictures Show hotel room key. If you catch the key take a pic of it for Facebook and make sure to tag them and you could win a float t-shirt. The Bouef Gras Float will be throwing cowbells to the crowds as well.

The Grand Marshal for this year's Centaur Parade is country music star and Shreveport native Jordan Davis!
