Who in their right mind would fire a flare gun into an occupied dwelling? I think the keywords might be "right mind" especially when you consider that the victim, in this case, is believed to be a former love interest. Here's what happened according to reports from media outlets and the State Fire Marshal's office.

Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's office say that 19-year-olds Dylan Guillory and Christian Bishop, both of Lake Charles, admitted to firing a flare gun through a window of a mobile home. The home, located in the 200 block of Phillips Street in Westlake, was apparently occupied by Guillory's former girlfriend.

Fire investigators say that no one was hurt and damage to the home was minimal. Guillory and Bishop were both arrested and taken to the Calcasieu Parish Jail to face one count each of aggravated arson.
