A man set himself on fire on Wednesday, May 29, in a park near the White House. Luckily, multiple law enforcement agencies acted quickly and extinguished him as he was fully engulfed in flames.

According to TMZ, initially, the man seemed to have been wearing a protective suit, because the fire didn't seem to faze him. He was arrested and taken to a hospital with "life-threatening" injuries.  An update stated that the man had burns on 85% of his body, and there was also a suspicious package on fire near the man which was extinguished.
