Meet Heather Buckmaster: Today’s ‘Charmed Christmas’ Winner with James Avery Artisan Jewelry and KVKI!

We've been asking you to submit your favorite Christmas memories and heartwarming Christmas stories to spread the warmth and joy of the holidays with a a 'Charmed Christmas' with James Avery Artisan Jewelry and KVKI and you've delivered!

Each weekday through Friday, December 22, 2017, during the 12pm hour with Bristol, we'll read one of your stories and the person who submitted it will receive a $50 gift card to James Avery Artisan Jewelry. At the end of each week, we'll put all five stories to a vote and the winner will receive an additional $250 James Avery Artisan Jewelry gift card!

Today's winner is Heather Buckmaster. Congrats Heather! Here's what Heather had to say:

My Christmas memories as a child are like a Hallmark Christmas Movie. We lived in Michigan so every Christmas there was fresh snow on the ground. We'd set out milk and special made cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. My mother let my sister and I open one gift on Christmas Eve, usually new pajamas. We would put on those new jammies and scurry to bed. The next morning we would jump on our parents bed until they arose and we would sit by the tree separating all the presents and open them one by one. Every year we'd write Santa a letter and every Christmas we had a new letter in return thanking us for being good all year! After opening gifts and eating breakfast we would go outside to play in the newly fallen snow, then make our way in for hot cocoa. Finally finishing the day with a big family dinner! Its so nice to have such perfect memories as a child and I intend to make the same for my children!
