Meet Karla Cedillo: Today’s ‘Charmed Christmas’ Winner with James Avery Artisan Jewelry and KVKI!

Over the last week, we've been asking you to submit your favorite Christmas memories and heartwarming Christmas stories to spread the warmth and joy of the holidays with a a 'Charmed Christmas' with James Avery Artisan Jewelry and KVKI!

Each weekday through Friday, December 22, 2017, during the 12pm hour with Bristol, we'll read one of your stories and the person who submitted it will receive a $50 gift card to James Avery Artisan Jewelry. At the end of each week, we'll put all five stories to a vote and the winner will receive an additional $250 James Avery Artisan Jewelry gift card!

My story is very simple but will always stay with me. When I was 14 my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. This was almost 30 years ago. My grandmother always went all out for Christmas but when I was 15 she was too sick to go buy a Christmas tree. So she had this piece of furniture that fit in a corner of the wall and had four shelves. I remember coming over and she had decorated the piece of furniture like a Christmas tree and had a few gifts on each shelf. At the time I thought it was silly. I was a teenager but now that's one of the most impressionable memories of my grandmother. She worked so hard with what she had and did her best to make Christmas special for me.
I miss her everyday and wish she lived long enough to see me grow up to be an adult but she passed a year later.

At the end of each week a grand prize will be given away for $250 to the most voted on story out of the (5) winners selected. Overview (4) people win $50 GC's per week, and one will win a daily prize ($50 GC) and the grand prize of $250. Totaling $300 for one lucky listener.
