Moonbot Studios of Shreveport Has Big Plans, Seeks Funding for ‘The Golem’ Video Game
The mythical 16th Century creature known as “The Golem” will come to life in Moonbot Studios’ next major game project. And Moonbot partner Lampton Enochs says it’s going to be a major undertaking.
Unlike previous major projects from the Shreveport studio, the goal for this one is to have it financed through the crowd-funding website Kickstarter.
Each person contributing $15 or more to the project will get the game when it's released. There are other rewards for different amounts.
The company's Kickstarter page currently has 318 backers and $14,897 (out of the $750,000 goal) pledged. There are 48 days left to go.
Moonbot Studios won an Oscar nearly a year ago for best animated short for its "Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore." We expect more great things to come from Moonbot soon.
