New Project in the Works for Moonbot Studios

The gang at Moonbot Studios in Shreveport has a new short film in the works.

Moonbot co-founder Brandon Oldenburg made a recent trip to Dallas to meet up with three actors who will be part of the production.

"One's from 'Mad Men,' one's from 'Twin Peaks' and a kid who's in the new 'Hotel Transylvania' movie," Oldenburg told me. "And the three of them are doing voice work for a new short film we're doing called 'Taking Flight,' and it's about imagination."

Oldenburg said the film is in production with animators right now, and is due out in late fall.

While we're waiting on that to come out, we can enjoy the new Movie Camp series on Turner Classic Movies. The first episode, which aired this past Sunday, featured a screening of 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind.'
