Early Tuesday (4/5/22), Agents from the Natchitoches Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, K9’s from the Louisiana State Police and DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office teamed-up to search Natchitoches Central High School for drugs.
The search was requested by Natchitoches Central High School administrators in reference to multiple complaints of narcotics usage by students on the school premises in the last few months.
During the operation, law enforcement officials arrested 5 (3- juvenile & 2- adults) students and seized over 50 grams of high grade marijuana, paraphernalia, and a THC edible.
Despite certain social media posts; no firearms were located.
Officials are committed making sure our schools are safe and drug free.

The operation was a cooperative agreement between Natchitoches Parish law enforcement agencies and the Natchitoches Parish School Board to make sure that students, teachers, and other staff members remain safe during the school year.
