Now that Kevin Hart has officially withdrawn as this year's Oscars host, the question still remains: Who should take his place?

Of course, the Academy can always choose an A-lister with experience—such as Ellen DeGeneres or Jimmy Kimmel—but this year, we think the coveted role should go to someone who's never had the opportunity to host yet.

The Muppets are a fun option since they're so beloved by everyone. Maya Rudolph and/or Tiffany Haddish are also a perfect replacement, especially since the two stole the show at 2018 Oscars when they presented together. If not, there's even Billy Eichner, Melissa McCarthy, Will Smith, Gina Rodriguez, Kate McKinnon or Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. And what about comedian Awkwafina? Or musical phenom Lin-Manuel Miranda?

They could also choose one of our fave celebrity duos, like BFFs Amy Poehler and Tina Fey (who have already hosted the Golden Globes together) or Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake. And if the Academy really wants to shake things up, we wouldn't mind seeing Ariana Grande take the stage as host, either: She's funny, she's talented, and she can impersonate all the nominees.

But, if all else fails, the Academy can also choose no one—and at this point that might seem like the best option for them. The awards are on February 24, so the clock is definitely ticking.
