Claws up! The Shreveport Mudbugs return to home ice this Friday and Saturday at 7:11pm at George's Pond at Hirsch Coliseum to take on the Lonestar Brahmas!

The Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is celebrating it's 14th year this Saturday in Columbia Park from 11am - 6pm with ten musical acts on two stages and over 60 arts and food vendors. This event is free to the public.

John Conlee has had 32 singles hit the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart since 1978 and has recorded eleven studio albums! Be a part of the magic with John Conlee and Wade Reeves this Friday at the Stage at Siverstar in Bossier! This is a 21+ show, tickets start at $25 and doors open at 7pm.

Greenwood, LA is the place to be this Friday and Saturday for the Pioneer Heritage Festival with tons of activities for all ages including a bass fishing tournament!

Does your dog love to swim? Have you ever thought it might be cool to take your best friend with you to Splash Kingdom? This Sunday, it's the chance you've been waiting for from 2-6pm. Admission is $18 plus tax per person and you can bring up to two dogs each with documentation showing your dogs are up to date on their shots. The event also features vendors and area rescue groups with animals available for adoption.

Saturday from 7-11pm, the Friends of the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum will hold their biennial fundraiser to help support educational programing and exhibits featuring chef John Folse, potter Bruce Odell and artist Tanya Dischler with an open bar and silent auction! Tickets are $175 per person.

If you're a fan of meat pies, Natchitoches is the place to be this Friday and Saturday with plenty of famous Natchitoches meat pies, music, art, vendors, hot air balloons, kids activities, fireworks and more!

Doors will open at 6pm Friday night at the Agriculture Building at the State Fair of Louisiana with an 8pm presentation of the new royal court for the Krewe of Sobek! The event is game day casual with $10 bottomless cups of beer available!

Head to Keithville, LA this Saturday for your chance to explore Chimp Haven's sanctuary. The event is 9am - 12pm and admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 6-12 years old and free for kids 5 years old and younger.
