Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day and all of Shreveport, LA will be ready to play this Friday for the return of Paddy in the Plaza!

While the Paddy in the Plaza $1,000 treasure has already been found, the real party is happening this Friday, March 17th in Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport from 3 - 11 pm. After being on hiatus for several years, the folks from the Mudbug Madness Festival are bringing Paddy in the Plaza back and the newly re-envisioned event will feature food trucks, live music, and, of course, cold green beer. The musical entertainment will consist of the Stiff Necked Fools, Cowboy Mouth, and The Hollow Decks. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Honestly, all three bands are so good, we'd be happy to go see them without the green beer. If you're not familiar, let's take a look! The Hollow Decks are a '90s cover band and they're one of my all-time local favorites!

If you're not familiar with Stiff Necked Fools, they describe themselves as 'Bayou Reggae.' Check 'em out, they're a lot of fun!

Finally, we have Cowboy Mouth. These guys have been one of the quintessential party bands here in Louisiana out of New Orleans for as long as I can remember. At least, that's what Jenny Says. They've been described as 'loud, possibly obnoxious, but definitely the most fun time period.'
