Photos Released in Attempted Armed Robbery in Shreveport

The Shreveport Police Department has released images captured from surveillance video during an attempted armed robbery at a local business.

Just after 11:15 this morning, a masked man armed with a handgun and wearing dark-colored clothing robbed the Family Dollar store in the 600 block of W. 70th Street. The suspect fled empty-handed after being alarmed by store employees.
