Powerball Jackpot Climbs to Epic High
So you didn't win the $1.6 billion Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday night... No worries! The Powerball jackpot is still climbing and will be the 4th largest jackpot ever up for grabs this Saturday, October 27, 2018!
It's mind boggling that not one, but two record breaking jackpots could be won in the same week, but it could happen! Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot ended up being the 2nd largest of all time, with one winner in South Carolina scoring $1.537 billion.
With no winner in last night's Powerball drawing, Saturday's jackpot is no slouch! Lottery officials say it will be worth an estimated $750 million, the 3rd largest Powerball jackpot ever and the 4th largest in U.S. lottery history.
The super sized jackpot is the result of 21 drawings in a row without a jackpot winner. The last jackpot was won August 11, 2018 by someone in New York.
I don't know about you, but I plan to turn the $4 I won on Mega Millions ticket into two Powerball tickets for Saturday. After all, you can't win if you don't play!
