The report says that NASCAR will restart May 17th at Darlington in South Carolina. It would be the first of five races they plan to hold in the month of May. With all of the dates aimed at states who have started relaxing their COVID-19 restrictions.

There could be some changes to how pit stops are done, but the organization is doing as much as they can to get races back on the tracks. Those decisions are in the process of being made by officials.

The current schedule reported includes races on May 17th, May 20th, May 24th, May 27th, May 31st, June 3rd, June 7th, and June 14th.

Locations listed include the previously mentioned Darlington, as well as Charlotte, Martinsville, Bristol, Atlanta, and Miami. All of these locations are in states who have taken steps to lift COVID-19 restrictions.
