I’m not sure if I count this is sad news or not, but last night our hometown girl Becca Tilley didn’t get the final rose on The Bachelor. If you were watching, then you know Chris Soules ended up offering the $60,000 Neil Lane engagement ring to Whitney Bischoff, not Becca. But I can’t help but think that’s a good thing as it didn’t look like she was ready for a commitment. What was the big dramatic twist? I was thinking maybe Chris and Whitney were already expecting or something equally racy. Turns out the big announcement was that the next season of The Bachelorette will start with two women… Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe. Don’t think it’ll be two for the whole season though… turns out the men will be sending one of them home, then it will be business as usual.

There was a big Bachelor watching party last night at the Robinson Film Center. Friends and family of the Tilley’s gathered to cheer on Becca and stayed through the final rose into the after the final rose show.

One of my favorites on The Voice this season is Meghan Linsey, formerly of Steel Magnolia. Linsey says she’s using her opportunity on The Voice to showcase her soulful side. Meghan is from New Orleans and says soul music is her favorite thing to sing and that she’s trying to get back to her roots.

Sarepta’s own Trace Adkins is getting the chance to put his acting chops to good use again playing the leader of a military veteran therapy group on NBC’s The Night Shift. The episode will air in May.
