State Fair Of Louisiana Set To Open

The State Fair opens Thursday and runs through November 13th. I always remember my trips to the Fair with my Dad when I was a youngster. Here are some of my thoughts about the rides:

This is the ride that Robert and I did our morning show from a couple of years ago. Maybe you remember hearing him crying on the radio? I had fun rocking the car and watching him sweat. He was really scared and would never do this again. I skeered him bad!!

This one is not too scary. It does get the riders screaming. Both of my boys liked this ride at a very young age. I would probably still ride this one....but it's not cool enough for teenagers.

This is the ride that scares me.

I am not really afraid of clowns, but this creeps me out. My Dad used to bring me on this ride and his voice was so scary when he would jump. I don't really think he liked going on rides like this either, but he did it because my brothers liked it. I would always sit close to Dad and hold on to him for dear life for fear of the "clown attack".

This version is called the Chain Saw. Rides like this divided my family for years. Half of my brothers would not go on it. They did not like rides that did two things at once. I loved it. I think I would still go on this one.
