Study Says Coffee Drinkers Live Longer Than Non-Coffee Drinkers
We're so caffeinated not even death can keep up!
There's nothing like a good cup of coffee, am I right? I have a cup every single day. Sometimes two. It's the perfect way to get the day started and is the calm before the storm, before the stresses of the day come crashing in.
That simple cup may help you live longer... to enjoy more cups, of course.
A study that was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association says that coffee has a positive affect on life longevity. Researchers looked at 500,000 people, with just over half being coffee drinkers, and attempted to find the link between drinking coffee and mortality. The relation is inversely related.
Meaning drinking coffee can help you live a long, happy life as it does not speed up mortality. This includes all types of coffee; ground, instant, and decaf. Want more good news? That same journal also published a study that says coffee may help reduce your risk of rosacea.
I'll raise a mug to that!
