Bracelets, Margaritas & All the Other Pink Things We Saw at Friday in Pink [Pictures]

On August 16, we helped Susan G. Komen punch out breast cancer at Friday in Pink. During the 12-hour fundraiser event at the Shoppes at Bellemead, there was no shortage of pink t-shirts, bracelets, hats and more. Here's a look at all the pink things we saw at the event.

Shreveport-Bossier citizens wore pink to the event to show support and solidarity for those who are fighting and have survived breast cancer, as well as in memory of those whose lives were claimed by the disease. According to the CDC, Louisiana has one of the highest death rates for breast cancer in the country.
