The 19th Annual Northwest Louisiana Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Is This Saturday in Shreveport

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is this Saturday at Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport.

The 2013 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure race returns to its original location at Mall St. Vincent. If you need more information about the event, call: 318-220-7060 or email info@komennwla.org. It's expected to be even bigger than any of the events in the past. 8,000 people are expected to take part in the race’s 19th year.  It's not too late to start getting ready for the race. Crowds will gather behind Sears at Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport on Saturday, November 2. The money raised from this event will fund breast cancer research. The course will run through the picturesque hills of the South Highlands neighborhood. You can join a team, run or walk on your own. You are also encouraged to form your own team.
