Swepco Working Feverishly to Restore Power to Thousands

It's just after 12:00 pm Tuesday and though AEP Swepco has successfully restored power to around 10,000 customers affected by yesterday's storms, just over 33,000 customers are still without electricity.  

According to Swepco's website, Rusk and Panola counties in East Texas, Caddo Parish and Sevier County in Southern Arkansas presently have the most customers without power, but those numbers have been dramatically reduced since around 4:00 am.  Rusk Country shows 7,326 customers without power, Panola 4,888, Caddo Parish with 5,228 and Sevier with 3,292.  To view the full list which is constantly updated by Swepco officials just go HERE.
