Within two days, East Texas has two state high school football championship titles coming home! For the fifth time in school history, the Carthage Bulldogs are state champions! In the battle for Class 4A Division I, the Carthage Bulldogs had to face off against the Bulldogs of Abilene Wylie in Arlington at AT&T Stadium.
If you don't show up early for church on Easter Sunday, chances are you'll have a hard time finding a seat. At First Baptist Church in Carthage, where I attend, it was so crowded last Easter that this year, they held the service at the new Civic Center.

The class will be held on Mondays from 6:00 to 9:15 p.m. in the Merle Glass Building of the main Carthage campus. The cost of the class is $140, and pre-registration is required.
