The legendary Logan Mansion of Shreveport on Austen Place, right across from Municipal Auditorium, has new owners, and I was there for the last event with Miss Vicki and Dakota Lawrence.

The death mound is actually 800-1,000 people that were buried in a mass grave.

Supposedly there have been cold spots, hair being played with by no one, and ghostly moans occurring on the second floor.

It is owned by the GE plant next door, and have been known to contact the authorities if someone is seen wandering the grounds.

The Spring Street Historic Museum is open Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm.

They say that Elvis never left the building.

The mansion has served many purposes over the years it has been a boarding house, a church, and a radio station. They host murder mystery parties and many other events at the mansion.

Apparently the plantation was used as a hospital during the Civil War.
