A movie filming in New Orleans is hiring paid background actors.

In a city known for its Hollywood ties, it's time to spotlight the hidden gems of Shreveport's homegrown talent.

This living legend went to social media to share some memories of filming in the Shreveport area during the summer of 2011.

In June, Governor Jeff Landry's administration gave away $185 million through ITEP, which is more than the entire film tax credit program.

For years, Hollywood has turned Louisiana into it's own character on the big screen, but they've also used movie magic to transform it into pretty much any place you can dream of in the universe. How many of these movies filmed right here in Louisiana have you seen?

According to the casting call, they are looking for all ethnicities and genders, including non-binary. The age range they're looking for is 18-20.

The National Treasure TV series, which will be coming to Disney+, will begin production in Baton Rouge later this month.

The production company for the movie "Big Shark", which was filmed in Downtown Lafayette, has released the trailer.  (CAUTION: NSFW Language) Judging by the trailer, the film is about a downtown area experiencing some flooding, and a large (big, if you will) shark infests those waters, preying on unsuspecting people...
