Shreveport singer Willie Jones isn't afraid of heights! The former "X Factor" contestant joined us live this morning (April 12) to help kick off the annual Holiday in Dixie festival in downtown Shreveport's Festival Plaza. Instead of our normal studio, we got extreme, broadcasting live from the top of the festival's popular Ferris wheel!

Some headline, huh? 'Will Robert J Wright Back Out of Tomorrow's Ferris Wheel Broadcast?' Despite my near phobic reaction to heights (anything over my head), most likely not. But would you blame me after the video Erin McCarty sent me this afternoon? Ferris wheel on fire? Really?

This year’s Holiday In Dixie Festival begins next Friday, April 12 at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport. We have quite a fun morning planned for opening day. We are going up in a ferris wheel or the tallest ride they have!!  I love it, but Robert is deathly afraid of heights ...
