The 30th Annual Philadelphia Center Auction Against Aids is Saturday
This long-standing event raises money for the Philadelphia Center in Shreveport and helps them to provide HIV/AIDS education, information, and support to Northwest Louisiana.
As a past member of the Philadelphia Center Board of Directors, this event is close to my heart. They always have incredible items available for the silent auction, including priceless pieces of art from local artists, fantastic food and entertainment. The event will also feature raffles, contests, a live auction and the chance to win Central Station’s Barrel of Booze, filled with wine, liquor, and beer.
This year's theme is 'Diamonds and Pearls,' and the party happens Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Sam's Town Hotel and Casino from 6 - 10 pm. You'll feel like you're on the set of Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey herself thanks to the efforts of Auction Chair, Dr. Lonnie McCray, Artistic Director, Jacquelyn Barber and Director of Development, Hershey Krippendorf.
You can donate to the Philadelphia Center and find out more about tickets here.
