LSU’s new head football coach Ed Orgeron is quite a character, and he certainly has a style all his own.  At 6pm tonight, in the town of Larose, a celebration will commence to celebrate Coach "O" - who just happens to be the hometown hero!  Not only is he revered for being the leader of the Purple and Gold Tigers, he is also a football legend in his own right.  During the banquet, Orgeron’s high school football jersey will be retired and fellow members of the 1977 South LaFourche High School football team will be recognized for winning the state championship.

So, if you are looking for an extra reason to celebrate during Mardi Gras - raise one to the coach and make your best "O" face
