The LSU Tigers open the college football season in less than 2 weeks with a game against Mississippi State in Tiger Stadium on Saturday, September 26. There will be a lot of changes for fans, students, players and coaches because of the pandemic.

SEC and LSU leaders say the number one priority is to focus on the healthy return of sporting events to campuses. The 2020 football season will be a 10-game conference-only schedule. The SEC Championship Game will be played December 19 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, rescheduled from the original date of December 5.
