Torchy’s Tacos is Forced to Shut Down Hours After Soft Opening

The day that all Shreveport / Bossier City Torchy's Taco-heads have waited for finally arrived yesterday, then ended mere hours after it began.  The long awaited soft opening of the one of the most popular taco restaurant chain's Shreveport location came to an abrupt end yesterday due to an overwhelming response.

Yesterday, just after 8 a.m. Torchy's announced through their official Facebook page that they were finally open for pick-up and delivery!  Then, at approximately 3 p.m. (approximately 7 hours later) the home of "Damn Good Tacos," citing higher than expected demand and limited staff availability, posted this very disappointing notice on the very same page:

No word yet on whether the restaurant will revert to the original opening date of April 1st, or if we will have to wait longer for our Trailer Park taco fix.
