Trio Of Anime Stars Coming To Shreveport’s Geek’d Con

Shreveport's comic con, Geek'd Con, is heading back to the Shreveport Convention Center. The dates this year are August 18th through 20th, 2023.

Since its start, Geek'd Con has been one of the premiere comic con style events in the state of Louisiana. The event has generated millions of dollars in economic impact to the Shreveport and Bossier City area. While also bringing in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame members, Star Wars icons, Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame members, and horror movie legends.

The 2023 Geek'd Con lineup features a ton of amazing talent. Including a Grammy Award winner, and Olympic Gold Medalist, an NFL Hall of Fame member, and multiple Disney icons. Not to mention guests from some of the biggest franchises in the world...like Scooby-Doo, Pokémon, and Harry Potter.

These celebrity guests come to Downtown Shreveport to meet fans, sign autographs, and take pictures.

This year at Geek'd Con in Shreveport you can meet a trio of voices who can be heard in some of the most popular anime shows of today.

First is Dallas Reid...

Dallas is known for voicing Asta in Black Clover, Kimito Kagurazaka in Shomin Sample, Haruki Bando in Cheer Boys!!, Zack in Angels of Death, and Juzo Honenuki/Mudman in My Hero Academia.

You can also hear Dallas' work in the One Piece universe, Borderlands 3, Spy × Family, Attack on Titan, and Dragon Ball Super.

Then there's Jill Harris...

Jill is best known for her roles as Aura Bella Fiora in Overlord, Charlie Morningstar in Hazbin Hotel, Noelle Silva in Black Clover, Mandalay in My Hero Academia, Naho Takamiya in Orange, Fuuka Akitsuki in Fuuka, and Charlotte Pudding in One Piece.

You can also catch Jill's work in Fruits Basket, Ace Attorney, Fairy Tail, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.

Finally, Kent Williams...

Kent has been a part of some of the biggest brands in anime. Some of his most notable roles include Mercenary Tao & Supreme Kai in the Dragon Ball franchise, the Narrator and George Saotome from YuYu Hakusho, Mr. Compress in My Hero Academia, Father in Fullmetal Alchemist, Judge in Ace Attorney, and Kuro in One Piece.

But Kent's resume goes even further. You can also catch his work in Fruits Basket, Fairy Tail, Ninja Slayer, Tribe Nine, and Vinland Saga. Plus dozens more!
