Shreveport and Bossier City have a massive Mardi Gras scene. This past weekend featured two of the biggest parades in the area, with the Krewe of Gemini and Krewe of Highland. Gemini rolled on Saturday night, while Highland took to the streets on Sunday.

For various different reasons, people miss parades. Maybe you went to Gemini on Saturday night and were moving too slow to make Highland. Or maybe you got too many throws during the Krewe of Centaur parade, so you skipped Gemini, but wanted to catch hot dogs and Ramen noodles at Highland. There always seems to be a reason that you might miss a parade.

So if you fell into the "I missed Highland" crowd this year, we've got something for you. This amazing camera shot was able to capture the whole Highland parade. While you might not be able to catch throws while watching this, it still gives you the feeling of being on the parade route.

These are cut up into separate videos, so you have to jump from video to video...but that's not all bad. If there's a particular part of the parade you're looking for, you can find it much easier than if this was one large video. So check them out here:

While you might be missing Mardi Gras in Shreveport and Bossier City already, you can start planning for next year already. Open your calendars and mark down February 3rd, 2024 for the Krewe of Centaur parade, and February 10th, 2024 for the Krewe of Gemini parade.
