Water Troubles in Southeast Shreveport

Some residents of South Shreveport are experiencing water troubles today because of an accident involving a construction crew.

Workers damaged a water line on Norris Ferry Road and this knocked out water service to the Norris Ferry Crossing neighborhood for several hours. Other neighborhoods nearby are also impacted with low water pressure as a result of the problem.

KEEL News has learned Provenance also has very low water pressure. Norris Ferry Landing residents are also dealing with low pressure. City crews are working to make the repairs and get the water pressure back up for that area.

Road crews are still working on the intersection at Southern Loop and Norris Ferry. Traffic is being diverted through the CVS parking lot while this phase of the construction is happening.
