Weirdest Thing You Caught at the Mardi Gras Parade

Last year was my first time seeing a Mardi Gras Parade in action. I rode with a fun Krewe in the Highland Parade who made sure my drinks were filled and my throws were loaded down and ready to launch. My first Mardi Gras, I went home empty-handed, but this year I came home with two plastic bags filled with "groceries" and a very proud boyfriend.

My friend Hillary invited us to her mother's home for the Krewe of Highland Parade where we were in the perfect position to load up on Top Ramen, Moon Pies, Sonic Corn Dogs, and yes even an occasional hot dog. I wasn't expecting to go home with some odd foods.

We were just about ready to head back up to the house because we had two bags loaded down when my boyfriend screamed, "I got a pig foot!" Seconds later he screamed, "we got deviled eggs!" I was disgusted. Apparently this is a normal throw for the Highland parade and some folks love these odd throws. What is the weirdest thing you caught at the parades this weekend?
