What Traffic? Trump Rally in Lake Charles Friday to Cause a Stir

A few months ago on a visit to Cameron Parish President Trump's motorcade caused quite a stir as the procession moved from Chennault to Cameron and back. As fate had it we on Lakeshore Drive got to see an impressive array of official vehicles as they rolled by on one leg of the visit.

They rolled by, that's the key. Everything was in motion but for the half-hour or two the president spent speechifying and in local meetings.

This Friday evening, actually based on recent events starting sometime late Thursday our local streets, loop, and freeway are going to be clogged by those attending President Trump's Friday night rally in our town.

The location is the James E Sudduth Coliseum, 900 Lakeshore Drive, Lake Charles, La., 70601 and the start time is 7 pm. Don't worry if you've never heard of the 'Sudduth' coliseum. Been to a hockey game, graduation, 12th Night? The big room at the Civic Center is the Sudduth Coliseum.
