WWE has made Bossier City a regular stop on their WWE Live tours for the last few years. For all of their recent stops, WWE has sent their "Smackdown Live" brand, affectionately known by fans as their "B" show.

The WWE has split their roster of Superstars into two different shows, Monday Night Raw, and Smackdown Live on Tuesdays. Raw has always been the favorite, it's a longer show, with more history, and is generally given bigger stars. Smackdown has had it's moments in history though, it's been home to The Rock, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena.

As WWE has come to visit Bossier over the last few years, they've been bringing that Smackdown roster, which is usually what they do in under-performing markets. WWE slots each market on an "A-B-C" scale, where "A" markets get pay-per-view events, "B" markets get TV shows, and "C" markets are made available for TV shows occasionally, but are mostly WWE Live stops. There are "D" type markets too, and then everyone else is in something that could be considered an "others" category.

In order to move up the ranks in their eyes, you have to perform well with ticket sales. Over the last couple of years, WWE has seen an increase in ticket sales when they've come through Bossier. You could easily classify our market as a "D", which is usually only going to get WWE Live shows with Smackdown instead of Raw. But when WWE announced they were coming back to Bossier in June, it wasn't with Smackdown this time...

WWE has announced their Monday Night Raw roster will be coming to Bossier City on June 10th.

As of right now WWE has Superstars like Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, The Miz, and Braun Strowman scheduled to appear. Which is a nice change-of-pace from the shows we've seen over the last couple of years.

Tickets are on-sale now, and start at just $15. This is a huge opportunity for pro wrestling fans in the Ark-La-Tex. If we go out of our way to buy tickets, and to get everyone we know to buy tickets, it could potentially set us up to once again see a WWE live TV show in Bossier City. It's been almost a decade since the last time WWE, or WCW, had a TV event in Bossier. But that doesn't mean it will never happen again.

This could be the market's best chance to show WWE that Bossier City, Shreveport, and the rest of the Ark-La-Tex can support a show as much as markets like Green Bay, Wisconsin, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, or Grand Rapids, Michigan. All of those markets have hosted WWE TV recently, and are the same size, or smaller, than Shreveport/Bossier.
