2011 American Music Award Nominations Announced

So far, 2011 has been a pretty good year for Adele.

Her CD, 21, has been the top seller. Plus, she's been selling out concerts. And then promptly cancelling them!

Hopefully, she'll be rested in time for next month's American Music Awards.

The list of nominees was announced today, and Adele leads the pack with 4 nominations.

Her list includes artist of the year, favorite female artist, favorite adult contemporary artist and favorite album.

Other nominees include:

Favorite Female Artist: Adele, Katy Perry, and Lady GaGa.

Album of the year: Adele 21, Rihanna Loud, and Lady GaGa Born This Way.

Country Album of the Year: Jason Aldean My Kinda Party, Taylor Swift Speak Now, and The Bandy Perry.

The American Music Awards winners will be announced November 20th.
