A Slingshot Ride’s Bungee SNAPPED Right Before Two People Were About To Ride It [VIDEO]

Imagine that you are sitting on a ride at the amusement park, you're about to go flying into the air and SNAP!! The cord that is supposedly stable enough to keep you safe while soaring in the wind breaks in half! Scary stuff!

That actually happened! A woman and a 13-year-old kid were strapped into a slingshot ride at an amusement park in Wisconsin on Thursday.  And right before they launched, one of the bungees SNAPPED.

They were still anchored to the ground, so they're okay, but can you imagine if this would have happened while they were in the air? It's good to know that the park is discontinuing the ride. Good thing!
